The series of Bulk Power Systems Dynamics and Control Symposia was established by Les Fink in 1988 and is managed since 1994 by the International Institute of Research and Education in Power System Dynamics (IREP). IREP’2017 continues the previous experiences from Potosi (1988), Deep Creek Lake (1991), Davos (1994), Santorini (1998), Onomichi (2001), Cortina D´Ampezzo (2004), Charleston (2007), Buzios (2010), Rethymnon (2013) and Espinho (2017).
